*** League of Legends ***

My honest opinion is that if you really want to improve just get out of that bronze 5, once you start playing with better players you will slowly improve, but i feel that playing with us is a little too much of a jump but if you play with bronze 1's or silver 5's etc you will slowly but surely improve :)

I dunno i just felt people could talk more obviously i know a few times i should have ulti'd away before getting caught but then, other times i didn't wanna ulti into the enemy cos i didn't know if everybody else was ready.

Quite happy to play with you guys though cos its good experience, but i don't want you guys to get angry having to carry me lol

Just witnessed how effective muting everybody in the game can actually be. Me, typically being a rather angry/frustrated gamer at times, I tend to get angry at my team mates and sometimes lose motivation to play when people make mistakes on my team and we get behind. I call people out a lot and ask them why they made their decisions and why they died, and it usually crumbles the morale of the team. This game I had been forced to play support (it is my 2nd main after Jungle) and the entire team got off to a bad start. Our Rammus flashed over onto their blue at lvl 1 and inevitably died... A few minutes later we were down about 5-15 on kills and by muting everyone in the game including my own team mates I managed to contain my anger since I couldn't talk to anyone, and I communicated through pings. We managed to get some decent team fights and we eventually picked up Baron and won the game. Today I learnt how to contain my emotion in a game... and I must say it did feel pretty nice when we destroyed the Nexus.
Yay

+1 only thing i say now is things like we can win if we protect XYZ or push the objective. I don't even un mute them for a response.

Thanks for the game last night, definately feel i need more practice to catch up with you guys but i'm sure if we play more together i can do it.

Just wanna apologise for my pants Malphite though :D

I would recomend DuoQ with someone who has a smurf account that they don't mind trashing.

My gold 3 mate smurfs on my smurf with me in duoq so I don't trash his rating as playing with GOLd 3's is a little bit above me right now. Although I will ask him to play a couple with me on his account so that I can experience the difference.

Had a Plat 4 ADC play against me yesterday I was jungle he was leagues above me and my adc but it was a nice experience to see the moves and how he co-ordinated with his duoq partner.

but i've learned so much and can win on my smurf in silver 2 with ease and am carrying silver 4 teams to wins on my main too.

Took an intense week of playing 3/4 games a day with him and him telling me when to back off or what I did wrong sometimes it's hard being told repeatedly why you ****ed up but it helps in the end.

So My advice is:

1. Find a patient and reasonably good player (someone clearly better than you not so good that they just carry you and your team irrelevant of how you play) but good enough that you can learn from them and their strengths are visible to you.

2. Duoq with him/her so if you top or mid let him jungle then he canm advise of ganks and things if you ADC then I suggest you support the ADC I learned a lot about caitlyns mechanics from him and mainly through supporting caitlyn. When you see the limitations or weaknesses in champs you can learn how to protect yourself a bit better too.

3. Never rage about it. You can and will still lose games. took me 2 promos and I soloQ'd all my promos as it's a nicer feeling to know I did that with people of my skill not with help.

When he first started playing with me he couldn't believe how bad the skill was. he continuously pointed out my opponents ADC mistakes which were giving him the advantages and he always encouraged me when he supported me in some of the games.

But all in all now I'm out of the rut i was in I have found I am a better player and It doesn't frustrate me all the time.

Aiming for Gold by the end of the season don't care which league but I don't see why I can't continue to improve xD

If I make GOLD then I will have gone from Bronze 3 to Gold in a single season I recognise just how **** I was last season in comparison to now lol

If anyone has a level 30 account they don't use that I can have it'd be great, need to make a smurf for a few reasons but really don't feel like grinding one out 1-30!

diamond 4 :D

Nice one mate :)

Currently 2 - 0 in my promo to gold, so if i win another tonight ill be so happy!

I'm hoping my LP gains will still be high, i was getting between 25 and 32 points per win in silver 1, if thats the case i really think i could make it to platinum given the 4 months left, duoed with my platinum friend and in all honesty i didn't find it that hard to play against them.

Played 1st game of lissandra yesterday, her q could have a longer reach but other than that she seems great at initiating teamfights and also great at farming.

Grinding one out is pretty easy to 25 then it's ****ing hard as you hit that final 5 levels.

I XP boosted mine and just played when ever I was locked out of ranked due to leaving in selection.

I have another smurf but that's at level 7 that's for playing with friends who have just started. wish you could transfer IP from accounts lol

Its good to harass with in lane, if you Q to hit a minion it often will hit the enemy, her E is extremely good for escaping, lets say you get ganked mid, fire your E towards your turret and you can walk another way and re cast it to port to it, it often confuses them thinking they can catch you but you just port away.

Had the most frustrating game to date.

Last game of promo series and need to win. I call supp but other guy wants it bad so ill go adc and everyone has their role so everythings cosy. Jungler tells me to pick amumu for a swap but having done so when it gets to his pick he then goes lee sin and says hes changed his mind but anyway whats the big deal...go support. Ive used amumu once or twice at most since starting the game then the fools start flaming cause im bad....

Aha my friend told me something similar, someone asked him to pick Malphite for him so they could swap and then just refused after.

Wouldn't do this with anyone other than team 5v5 or with people I know.

Hmmm that is a lesson learned, used to swapping all the time in team games - won't now for solo play thanks for the heads up.

Amumu as support, ouch that really wasn't fair. Malphite would have been more liveable with - though neither ideal

Need to pick up another champ for support and almost got 6300 so who do u think, thresh or nami?

Only problem is that the former seems to be banned a fair bit the latter never so thinking she might be the safer bet. Or theres lulu as i think shes on sale, whats she like? Also how difficult is it to play thresh well?

I would normally play janna or sona.

Go for Nami, at least you'll be able to pick her in ranked as, like you say, Thresh is banned in 90% of games.

Jumped on for a few ranked games myself on Saturday. Lost the 1st one but then went on to win 5 in a row and get up to Gold 3.
Seems I should stick to playing supports as the 5 wins were all when I picked support :(

I did play a Malphite support yesterday :p

4 of us had a game. 1 of us stupidly waited too long to try and lock in his champ, selected Jarvan IV as he wanted then accidentally moved to Kassadin which he's not familiar with. So while we're all busy laughing on Skype I'm told to pick someone tanky so go Malphite support, built a Sightstone and a Sunfire Cape before the enemy team surrendered :p

First ulti got the ADC a kill on the enemy ADC. Second and third ulti's against lone targets in the laning phase missed miserably. Fourth, fifth and sixth ulti's hit 4+ people in epic teamfights and we just rolled them. We spent the whole thing just laughing at how well it turned out.

Nami has a really strong initiate with her Q and Ulti, paired with people who know what they are doing you should be really strong bot lane with the sustain her heal provides and the damage buff to your ADC.

When it comes down to it, if they have 4/5 attack damage champs, Thresh can be a nice pick because of his passive armour building. Can be built quite tanky if your team is squishy.

Both are very nice to have but again, the ban rate is annoying on Thresh...
