That's a great addition, spent over 30mins last night deleting un-needed data.
 
very interesting if thats true, clan support? awesome, there were several rumours about that after bungie announced halo 3 might not have the clan tab.
 
I don't believe it, Xvid support? I really can't see Microsoft doing that as they have their very own WMV format. But If it is true then yes, awesome stuff.
 
if that is true then it looks like an awesome update.

i hope we dont get too many blades though, at the min we seem to be getting a new blade every update.

stop now M$ please ;)
 
Lol we have had 1 new blade!

Looks good although I'm more excited about the big announcement regarding Live which MS will make in October!

Hmm, I'm not to sure about that. I think that Sony have more to protect with their film studios etc so they wont support Xvid. MS on the other hand wont use it because they want their own WMV standard to be used - I'm sure they COULD come around though.
 
Hmm looks good if it's all true (and works). Wonder if I'll get my 360 back from Microsoft by the time we get this...

Some of those are ****ing amazing.

Friends categories has been needed so badly, clan support, xvid. I cant wait.

Edit: IMO Xvid may come to the 360, its one of those things that is asked about very regularly. If there is enough demand and MS are absolved of any responsibility for the 360 being used to play pirate material then there is no reason for them not to include it. Anything that makes the 360 more popular will be a positive for MS.

Give me filters for friends! So I can have OCUK folder, REAL friends folder ;), etc

And up the friends from 100 to 10,000.000

I think having too many friends will possibly kill XBL. Think about it this way, if you have 10k active friends every time you log on, you will send out 10k notifications. and if you logged on first, and then your 10k friends logged on you would get 10k notifications.

I think 100 is enough tbh. I fill it up regularly, but when I look at the FL I realize there are people that I have never played with, people I have played with once or twice and people I do not even recognize their names.

I delete those people and I am down to 50-70 friends.
