Lean to conservatory quote....

With both an uninsulated floor and uninsulated dwarf wall he is going to get about 1 months usage per year, max....
^ This.
Our house had a conservatory when we bought it, looked really smart and we thought it would be a nice space. It went from freezing cold to roasting hot in the space of about 20 minutes when the sun was out.

like most conservatories, makes sense to plan, you want a decent place, glass roof costs lots more, but makes a HUGE difference.

This space is basically a 5K dog kennel...A place for the collies to dry off and for muddy boots and raincoats to go.

I won't be sitting in it...The house I built is massive...but the laundry room is not big enough and quite frankly not ideal for dogs to dry off due to size...

I'll probably keep my mountain bike in it rather than walking over the stable block...where my motorbike is..Its basically more space...But its not living space...

Will be fantastic for the winter when I let the dogs out and they get all muddy and wet...

Basically a posh porch. :)

I see thats fair anough, depends on what your after mine houses a pc and cinema so i like it a bit darker also my floor is insulated and also the dwarf and full height wall that does finish it off. .

lol I appreciate that, but surely the idea is increased light? As in a giant sunlight that is the roof? Yes, a false ceiling with insulation will work, but this isn't really giving the end result, fine if you move in somewhere with a poly roof, but if you have the choice yourself, go glass and pay the extra..
