Hey,

I've just watched Casino Royale and I'm in the mood to learn poker again. I played it when I was on holiday in Oz but I cannot remember the website my cousin showed me to learn how to play.

It was a flash game, went through the rules, cards, etc and then you played some practise games.

Does anyone know the site or any other good flash/picture based resources?

Thanks.

Just watch the episodes of High Stakes/World Series on Youtube or Pokertube. You'll easily catch on to how it's played.

Betfair also let you play Fun Money if you don't want to play on the real money tables. However, i find playing Fun money a bit pointless as the whole mechanics of the game go out the window. People will go all in on crap hands.

In fact, If anyone else uses Betfair fancy trying to get a low stakes game going tonight? Obviously the tables aren't private but there's normally some empty tables we could all dive on. I'm talking 0.05c and 0.10c SB/BB games.

CH4's website/poker has everything you need to become addicted to Gambling & lose your House/wife/kids/dog/goldfish :D

The way i learnt my trade waas going on betting sites and playing the fun money . PKR is good for online so is betfair, but the only way you are really going to learn is get yourself to your local casino assuming you are 18+ and play some of their beginner nights where its something like £5.00 entry.

Add me to MSN. But I'm not really up for big hands tonight. Just looking for a small stakes game with a forum group :)

I play on facebook texas hold'em, not playing for real money at the moment.

pretend money games are very different from even low stakes cash games, folks play like idiots as they can reload anytime

learn the basics and then play the freeroll online tournaments, nothing to lose but as there are real prizes the games become more realistic

I'll play later, maybe a $2.50 or $5 sit and go for a laugh? Add me to MSN if you like, probably won't be back until later on though :)

Edit - my email is the same as the one in trust, but .COM, not .co.uk.

I have PKR set to show freeroll tournaments but I was on for 6 hours last night and none came up anyway to see when they start or are they simply random when PKR earns enough cash?

what do you use then. I just picked the first that came to mind.

Won't use party poker as it just encourages their use of firefox beating pop behinds hehe :p
