Hello all,

do you still look like a ****** in a leather jacket?

Now I went shopping tonight down Lakeside and bought 2 x new jeans, couple of t-shirts and a new pair of work shoes.

They have a huge leather clothes store there and my friends wanted a look so I went in and instantly spotted this jacket I liked.

It's waist length, sort of a light brown with almost a very slight light green tint to it (weird to explain), silk on the inside, has that "worn" look and in general looks the dogs.

Costs £325

Tried it on and everyone said it suited me and I was on the verge of buying it but decided that I had splashed out enough for one night and decided to leave it.

I'm very tempted to go back and buy it tomorrow incase it goes, but what are the general opinions on leather jackets?

Thanks :)

Lol thats quite an amount of money for me :D

Yeh they can look cool if they suit you, i vote you go there again (if your close) and take a pic in mirror with phone of you wearin it :D /weirdo-gay-perv mode

Forget opinions, if you like it (and can afford it) buy it. I wear a leather jacket because I like it, although I get comments from lots of people about how they don't like leather blah blah.

the way i justify it is, do i have anything to wear with it and where would i wear it?

if i cant think of a decent answer for either i leave it lol. easy choice...

hence i bought a leather jacket from asos at xmas as i wanted a light jacket to wear over a t-shirt for going the pub but didnt want anything too thick. saves me taking a jumper and also gives me somewhere to stick money etc in zipped pockets.

apparently its my 'justin timberlake' look. :o

Full length, NO NO NO.

Half length/knee length, maybe. As said, you have to suit it but it sounds like you do.

tbh, it doesnt matter what it is, if it looks good on you and you like it, buy it.

surely you are adverse to peoples comments about your 'style' and choice of things by now ;]

The only leather jackets which look good are this kind:

Any thing else makes you look like a loser.

I say yes. :) What brand is it? for £300+ is a lot. But its always value for money though since its a leather jacket.

Didn't check the brand - but my god it was lush

sounds like to much money for me,

the only sort i like are vintage - get a proper bit of leather for a fraction of the cost
