Led Zeppelin reunion now virtually certain

Doubt I would travel all that way for them, wish I could though.

OT: Bumhucker, dont you think the prostitute from rome, the one who was stabbed, was a lot fitter than cleopatra? I demand you replace your sig!:p

Not too excited about this. Robert Plant just doesn't have 'it' anymore in my opinion. My stepmother saw Page and Plant play a concert together a couple of years back (I think), and apparently it was alright. Not amazing, or spectacular, just alright. Not what you'd expect from people with their reputations, and that were as good as they were.

But who knows, they could pull out all the stops, and it could be fantastic. :)

Don't think I'll be going though.

My mate went to see Plant & Page in 1995 and was very satisfied. He got me into Zep shortly after that.

The two of us went to see Plant at Sheffield Octagon a couple of years ago and in my opinion he still has "it". Having watched concert footage from 1973 he held back on some notes even then whilst singing live. He was no worse a couple of years ago than he was in '73.

I'd love to see them but I absolutely detest going to London for anything. Everything is such a pain to get back from.

Dont wanna see this, Zep are THE legend and doing it now when every man and his dogs band are reforming just doesnt seem as genuine as it could. Plus it's not the same without Bonham even if it is his son behind the skins.

I'd love to go down there and see them. It would be great as I know my Dad really wants to go and I've never been to a gig with him before :) Zep are his favorite band, he used to play them to me when I was a kid and I used to pretend to hate them while secretly loving it.

Now I've got older, though we are not that close, he is so pleased I've come to like them and rock/metal as well. He has seen them several times before, but it will be great for him to see them one last time, with me there too. I know it will never be the same without Bonham, but it will be nice to see what's left, if for the memories if nothing else :) Can't wait :D

I know who Led Zep are :)

Im 17 too

Bloody Mother listens to them all the time, Black Dog is an alright track though

It will be awful.
They were all over the place when they were at their peak and the reunion concerts since Bonhams death have all been crap.
I doubt that this will happen anyway.
RIP.
