Me and the wife (we're still together) went to the 1st Earl's Court Concert in 1975, I was blown away by it all. I still listen to their tracks, the wife has moved on to David Gray
I'm not too sure but I think the ticket price in 1975 was about £2.50 - would that be about right? We stayed in a small hotel in Sussex Gardens not far from Earls Court for about £9.00 each....... down memory lane
I agree with most of the 10 tracks chosen by the Times Online, I'll have to have another listen to Houses of the Holy but I don't think iI would pick it above Dazed and Confused
We wont be able to go to these concerts this year (out of the country). I met a Georgie in Goa in March of this year, he claims to have one of John Bonham drumming sticks which John threw out to the audience at the end of a gig! Another friend of mine claims to have a guitar string given to him by Jmmy Page!
That quote has left me dazed and confused.

Well, I was keen, but £125?! At the O2?! Think I'll pass.
£125 per ticket? Damn it. Please God make them do just one more tour, I don't care if Robert Plant sounds like crap now I just want to be able to say to my kids I saw Led friggin' Zeppelin and how they're the greatest band of all time and your music today is rubbish blah blah blah...

Is it going to be a full on LZ gig, or just a short LZ appearance during the larger 'tribute to Ahmet' gig? Not sure if that's been made clear yet... (?)

BBC News said they were going to do several songs but after rehearsals and they all got on well they decided to do a full concert.
