I haven't been out since...oooh...last Saturday night. I'm out every weekend without fail :D

I've got a grotty cold coming on though. Just hope I can hold it off until after the weekend.
 
I just got back on dry land today, haven't been out for a fortnight.
Am off out to get some practice in now - probably won't be out for long but will get me started on the road to party mode :D

I almost blew away, could feel the force of the wind pushing me about till I held onto someone. Piggy would have no chance :eek:
 
You should have seen me trying to get on the plane in Cardiff when I flew out to Japan !! .. I nearly fell onto the bloody tarmac the wind was so strong :eek:

Not long come back from shopping and I've managed to get a new outfit :cool:
 
I almost got blown into a bus last weekend :(
That could have been nasty although a funny way to go :D
 
Dont get me wrong, i appreciate a good soak as much as the next guy. But not when i'm on the lash* ;)

*Exception would be backsplash from somesort of wet t-shirt event :D

EDIT: Just reminded myself of Magaluf 2003 - was asked to judge a wet t-shirt contest. I reluctantly accepted. Nothing like semi-naked ladies fighting for your vote to make a great night out :D

Does it come straight down?

The beauty of Shetland rain is that it's usually horizontal and you only get wet on one side ('til you turn a corner that is :p )

s0d, just saw this thread... and I think I just arranged to go to Manchester for a concert... However, if I don't find a ticket then I'll be in Leeds, so if anyone with a GPRS phone posts where you will be when you finally decide where you're going I'll come and join you:)

What time you guys planning on being at the hotel?
 
Thats a point - you gonna meet us at the hotel before 2pm Gilly? Would make more sense to dump the cars there so we can drink during the day without worrying. Then we'll meet everyone in the square at 2.
 
Not decided what time is best for me to arrive as I'll be in one set of clothes and not stopping at a hotel :p Will have to catch a train home at just after 22:30 though :/

Well it is the overclockers' meet after all! I think the more hi-tech the organisation is, the more appropriate!:p

Seriously though, that's the day I'll be coming back from London so I probably won't be back till late afternoon, and it won't be till evening before I scrape the National Express soot off my face :o it doesn't look like u guys have decided which club you're going to so the best way for anyone who wants to come meet you to know where you'll be would be if someone posted an update to this thread once you've decided where you're going.


Doesn't need to be a GPRS enabled phone though - it could be a wi-fi enabled laptop!:D :cool:
