zola!! what a legend! he was still immense when he retired, but im not sure he'd fare to well in the good ol' championship!

as for flo - we will have to wait and see, but reading an interview of his on teamtalk has reassured me some what. he mentions quite a few of his close family are leeds fans so he has something to work for other than £££ - which is more than can be said for some of the loan signings weve had.

Cresswell and Healy/Hulse last season were a formidable force.

Whenever I see him come off the bench or start you can see the impact, he runs after everything and gets up in the air.

I really want to know when he will be back though.

Watford are reportedly wanting Healy. Given the right service Healy is the sort of player who would get 10+ goals a season in the premiership.
 
I don't believe you had a choice in the signing of Kandol, when he went on loan the rumour was that it was loan with a guaranteed permanent transfer at the end, thats the only reason you got him early and wern't made to wait for the transfer window, the deal had to have been good for us to sell and loaning out the leagues top scorer and potentially getting him back in 2 months time totally disinterested/dispirited would've been a disaster.

Interested to see thats he's doing ok at least, his attitude wasn't suitable for a lower league club especially when he knew he was being watched by the better clubs, he upped his game in the Cup/important league games when he knew the scouts were about, then trudged around the pitch not doing a thing for 90 minutes against teams like Accrington.

Good move for us so no complaints from me, 200k and his replacement who signed on a free has been banging in goals. I think Kandol will do pretty well for you lot when he finds his feet, now he's at the bigger club that he believed his talent deserved. Good luck to him, hope he scores lots of goals and brings in a nice transfer fee we can take a slice of ;)
 
Didn't really get to see much of Leeds on MOTD, it was just the goals.

Didn't see Flo involved with much but Sa seems to be a good player. :)

Hopefully we will get some points from the Birmingham game :)

I must admit I was hoping for more than £1.75mil but he's been fairly rubbish when he's played lately so it doesn't suprise me that we only got £1.75mil. I just hope the money is well spent on a couple of players who will keep us up.
 
for some strange reason im starting to actually feel like theres been a change at the club, and a positive one - which i dont think has happened in a long, long time. i have faith in wisey and gus and look forward to seeing us win some games in 2007.

im not happy we sold killa (especially for how little he went for) but if it allows us to buy 2-3 players we desperately need then so be it. im thinking along the lines of players like dom matteo whom i think can really make a difference to us at this level. any other suggestions?

I'd like to see that settle as the team or perhaps a fully fit Cresswell in place of Flo.
 
Cresswell in for Flo if he gets fully fit again, I'd have Derry in before Westlake though.
 
Westlake is a better technical player but you cant fault Derry's commitment to the cause most of the time.

When on earth will Cresswell be back though?
