Leeds Utd

healy hasnt been playing his best for a good while now (although a lot of that is probably down to lack of decent service).

As for sully, i totally agree he should be our no.1 choice in goal

oh and yeah and im not even going to comment on paul butler.

Butler was a liability. I dont think there's a single Leeds fan that would want him back in the side.
as for healy, he's got too much talent for this divison, but unfortunately nowhere near enough application and commitment, so if he goes in January I wont be that bothered, especially if we can get a good fee for him.

Butler was always a safety first merchant, but no one ever scored from Row Z.

Where is he now? Languishing in the reserves or out on loan?
thats all well and good, apart from when you have someone with a vague amounnt of pace playing against him and he cant get there in time

He was the only one on the pitch for Leeds today that bothered "playing" till the end.

I won't shed a tear if Leeds are relegated.

No club are too big to go down, and Leeds are the epitome of a club who lived way beyond their means and are now paying the penalty.

Well, a few people at Leeds (Ridsdale and his cronies) lived beyond their means. Then got away scot free when things went pear shaped. Now he is doing the same at Cardiff. He shouldn't be allowed involvement with another club until a full investigation into what he did at Elland Road has happened.

As for the current situation:

Only one thing will ever fix what is happening at Elland Road. Firstly, we cut away the cancerous tissue, i.e 90% of the first team squad. Then we buy the same number of players in.

Unfortunately, this will never happen. We ideally need 4million+ to spend in the window. Doubt that is going to happen.

It all boils down to January. Will Bates put his money where is mouth is? Thats the only thing that will save us now. Can we avoid relegation? With investment, yes. We would need 2-3 good players at this level to give us that extra boost. Not some Loanee journeyman here for his last paycheck, real LEEDS PLAYERS. A couple million ought to do it if Wise spends....erm....wisely.

Who to?
and i am assuming you mean Kilgallon? In which case i know the blades put in a 1.5 million bid in for him (Well, i think we have :P)

Casmeister.

Rumours down here are that Wise is going to raid some of our players at Swindon.

Curtis Weston, Jerel Ifil and Christian Roberts are all supposed targets, players he rated highly in his brief spell at Town.

Weston's a young central midfielder, willing runner, hard worker with plenty of talent.

Ifil's a pacey central defender who is excellent in the tackle and a superb man-marker. However he lacks concentration, positional awareness, often suffers rushes of blood to the head and cannot pass the ball to save his life.

Roberts is a striker-cum-winger, decent player with a bit of flair but nothing special.

I doubt any of them would do a job for you to be fair.

i think it was sheff... my dad told me this morning, i was in bed... asleep when he was on my pc... he randomly said it, i barely understood.. thereford not remembering much :D

I wish you lot would buy Paul Ifill, or failing that...Just have him.
he is the worst winger i have ever had the displeasure to watch, the only runs he ever made last season were backwards :(

Casmeister.

Well we've signed Robbie Elliott, again from Sunderland.

We opted out of it in the summer but now have got him for some reason. Still, he can't be worse than Crainey I doubt.

if we sell killa i certainly hope it is for more than £1.5m......something nearer £3-4m would be nice at this stage and failing that, at least some future clauses for international apps/sell ons etc.

Yeah, I can see him going for as little as £2m because we really need the money to get other players.

The big teams often do this to us....:(

yeah and youd think we would learn from our mistakes. bad business was what got us in this mess in the first place and flogging our good players off on the cheap is just continuing the process

So where is Elliot going to fit into our plans ?

I'm guessing Left back so that we can let Eddie push further forward ?

I cant see anywhere apart from a commanding Midfielder where we could buy anyone which would make a massive improvement.

We have great talent up front with Healy, Blake, Cresswell and Moore.

Midfield we have a crosser of a ball, a good passer with Westlake and a good captain in Nicholls ( when he is on the pitch ).

At the back we have Richardson, Elliot and for the moment Kilgallon and Heath.

We have a great team, they just aren't pulling their weight.
