A few survivor maps added to Ocuk 7.

  • Scenic Lookout -- Survivor -- A simple survivor map that has the stranded players atop a large hillside surrounded by mountains. Countless hordes ascend only to be blown away! Sounds simple, but it gets crazy very quickly. HR and M4 weapons only. -- Servers (7)
  • Brutal Littoral -- Survivor -- On the road to the lighthouse, our 4 friends make a stop in the last house of the coast. Nestled in the cliff, protected by a grid, the place provides a temporary haven of peace. Temporary is the keyword... -- Servers (7)
  • RoadWarrior -- Survivor -- You are the roadwarriors. Traveling the highways of America. Unfortunately your car broke down and you're stuck in what seems to be an abandoned military checkpoint. How long will you last? -- Servers (7)
 
Thanks for these, had great fun at the weekend with a few mates playing new maps.
Night terror has been our favorite so far.

Been hosting these locally and my connection was coping fine, we prefer that as we've been kicked off servers before mid game to make room for friends and such of server admin.

Sorry to hear you've been kicked. I never kick from mine, unless players are being abusive or refusing to leave after taking my place when I have crashed.

Go on ocuk 3 using the ms_force command if it's free and I won't be the one to kick you.

And I agree that most local hosts are fine for coop/survival games. It's only if you know your computer likes to crash or you want a game of versus that you need the dedicated servers. Or if you are me and have 3 deds anyway...
 
Ah sorry that read wrong, wasn't any of the OcUK servers we've been kicked from xD

What I liked a lot about one of the forest levels, sorry cant remember name, was the ability to hot switch to infected lol. Couldnt work out how to switch back tho :(

A lot of these custom campaigns seem to have a LOT of thought put into them and are very well planned out. Once or twice we did come up against some underwhelming "charges" but that Night Terror goddamn was some clustered moments on that where we got stomped

Yeah, generally on the OcUK servers there's a policy of not kicking people to make space for friends :)

Dead City will be on Ocuk 7 tomorrow, just need to get some decent bandwidh to upload 600Mb to the server. :eek:

As for kicking and to re-iterate Link and Aekeron above, no-one is kicked from the ocuk servers unless they're being abusive etc. Feel free to connect to one of the servers if it's free and enjoy.

Here is a list of the servers and maps/plug-ins uploaded etc.
