Has anyone tried playing the verses mode yet? This game is amazing I will be wanting to play with a decent team for co-op tonight

Had a quick 15 min play of this in one player mode, very different to resident evil but still good non the less. Very easy to get into, and looks quite nice too.
 
Just joined a random game, cause I had to have a go before I'm a celeb, and was lucky enough to land up with 3 guys from a clan who were good fun to play with - and I had the most fun I have had on my xbox ever :)

We landed up on no Mercy, and the fact that I have played that map quite a few times now, and that we landed up repeating the first god knows how many time, it did not matter cause it was such a blast.

Will be back on around 10, so hopefully can get together with some people off here.

Can see going to have a very late night :)
 
Am I right in thinking to get achievement points for finishing a chapter you have to do from start to finish without stopping because it doesnt save your game or anything?
Its just I did chapter one last night and got to the rooftop safehouse and I switched it off, I went back to the game and found I couldnt continue and just had to start a new level at the rooftop area and when I did that I got nothing? Hope that makes sense?
 
I think you need to complete it in one sitting. There is no saving of progress. Only possible way to get around might be join an active game.
 
That's right (from my experience so far).

Great game, had to tone the sensitivity down a bit as I was spinning around all over the place to start with but will certainly be one I play a lot :)
 
Ahhhh right Ill have to come back to that one again then! T'is a great simple game though going round smashing zombies! Im going to have to do it with some people online though I think?
 
Yeah, you need to play it with other people, and most importantly with decent people. If you land up with someone who is just going to run and gun, not wait for team, and get himself killed constantly it can ruin it a bit.

Never played a game which was so entirely dependant on the people you play with.

I was skeptical about the game, but after having played for so many hours last night and not even completing the No Mercy campaign, I can see this game will be great value for money, and don't think it will get old quickly as I feared.
 
Agree with all of that, we had one guy last night who had obviously played No Mercy before and just ran out in front, deliberately set off car alarms, woke the witches, etc etc. After he was incapped the 2nd time we left him to die!
