On lvl2 I've opened the door in the room with the crystal (the one that needed 2 keys). When I teleport there's a closed door and I can't figure out how to open it. Any ideas?

Face away from the teleport - there's a brick switch on the opposing wall that turns the teleport off ~ very briefly; don't bother turning round, click the switch and march backwards.
 
Started this last night, My part composition is Human and Minotaur fighters on front row and back row is a Lizardman Rogue and Insectoid Mage.

Currently Human is using Sword and Shield and Minotaur is using Mace and Shield. Rogue has a spear (not found a bow yet) and mage is using Fire and Earth magic. About 3/4 of the way through the second floor. Loving this :) so simple in design yet so good.
 
Played about 3 hours so far, just taking my time as I don't want to finish this too quick ;)

Currently using the default party and down to level 3, seems like it back to the good old days, excellent game so far although I'm finding the magic a bit of a pain to cast each time (would be nicer if you could default a spell and cast it on one click).

Using Sword, Mace up front, with throwing rogue, and mage.

Had about 3 party members killed at various points so far, from being cornered / fumbling with controls where I picked my mages wand by mistake / and being surprised by a mob.
 
15mins later and full party death... :p

I hate spiders!! Front two melee got poisoned, while I was working on trying to stop that in pops another 2 spiders, corner me, and Game over man Game over :(
 
Finally got my mits on this and man it's hard! Never really played anything even similar really so it's rather new to me :p peeved that I missed secrets on lvl 1 though especially
in the first room where you start! :(

Question for you lot...

For those that have never played a dungeon crawler before ie a game such as this, has it made you go and search or think about playing other OLDER dungeon crawlers? :confused::cool:
 
I got trapped in a room with 3 legion knight things...full party death :(. I think i'll wait until my pc is rebuilt until I carry on playing
 
Has anyone come across any false walls yet? They were a big feature in Dungeon Master, and I find myself bumping into as many walls as possible looking for extra secrets.
 
I was thinking, Is it even worth having a mage at the moment as they are quite awkward to use in battle.... I cant help but think another ranged rogue or fighter with a spear might be a better choice at the moment. Unless of course there is some reason to use them later on
 
Just started playing, have reached the second floor. Its amazing. Really bringing back the Dungeon Master memories although from the posts I've read, not looking forward to meeting my first spider.
