That's what I have now, a big fat pile.
My brother used to just raid my complete kits for bits to make stuff.
Yay, someone else who had the Technics sea plane. That was neat, working flaps and all.
Yup, got a few sets where i've aquired duplicates for one reason or another, usually because I happen to spot one going cheap so pick it up for later resale, then never get around to selling it becuase i'm a hoarder at heart.
I've currently got 3 of the black car with red seats that that there are 2 of in the picture.
Every now and again I get the urge to take them all apart and just pile all the bricks up like they were when I was a kid just to see how big a pile it would make but it'd take me forever to seperate them all out in to sets again.

What amazes me more is how the people at Lego manage not only to come up with these sets that look so much like whatever it is supposed to be but also manage to incorporate movements that emulate it as well.

That is a sad thing, you have lived a very sheltered life
However, no matter how stickley the bricks are they can never hold a candle to Lego...
I know. I think it's what I used to want to be when I was a youngster. I think it still is really...

Funny, I had that one but could never get it to unroll the way it was meant to, just always got stuck halfway through
.I miss my lego, have it all at home (about 10 large crates of it), curse you all for reminding me of how awesome lego is
.That lego builder programme will just have to do until I can get back home on holiday.

I think I'm going to have to crack out my old lego now after reading this . Though I expect half the pieces will have disapeared, eaten by my nephew and niece whenever they come over...
