Leicester sweatshops

There is a difference between an 'accurate summary' and a 'sensationalist twist', it's a shame your lenses are so fogged.

So much hypocrisy everywhere.

The politicians are the worst. People like Hillary Clinton and Obama tweet "Black lives matter" and tell people we should be doing more, despite being directly responsible for the current slave trade crisis in Libya. The pair of them have done more harm to black people in the past decade than any other Americans, and yet everyone still listens to every word they say on the matter.

The best hypocrisy is Lewis Hamilton with that chain around his neck with Mercedes and Hugo Boss sponsors on his t-shirt. People forget history very easily but happy to spray paint all over a statue of Winston Churchill.

Yeah its off topic here but that black power salute looked very creepy to me.

Both of those companies are paying him millions of pounds, perhaps he's having the last laugh?

The irony is that it's most famous application was in the face of Adolf Hitler at the Olympics, Lewis now works for a company that was a valuable part of the Nazi war machine and utilised slave labour.

Or the irony is now that the Nazis are paying a black man millions of pounds?

They're not Nazis. And if you don't think that Mercedes are earning more off him than he's earning off them then you're heavily deluded.
He's taking their cash with no regard to their history whilst at the same time decrying that history.

I haven't stated any of that, the Nazi comment was an extrapolation of yours.

I thought he was using his position to highlight racism issues. Perhaps, given that he can't change the past, he's trying to change Mercedes from within (if it even needs changing??).

Quite, how best to derail a thread about a group of businessman from several distinctive heritages exploiting often poor and sometimes undocumented workers as cheap labour in factories that may be unsafe also creating lockdown conditions with unsafe practices, by arguing about BLM.
