Lenovo Legion 5 Pro

So here are my Ram timings out of the gate with the laptop, sorry for coming across lazy in regards to not doing too much of my own research here im on a limited time budget these next couple of weeks so just looking for the TLDR of what the score is with these laptops.

Have watched, seems to be the same thing as tightening ram timings on desktop via 1usmus tools to get increased speed but in this case the shipped hardware (sometimes) is simply holding the cpu back... no worries i will order some of the kingston fury

Will pick up the 32GB kit as i do a bit of 3d modeling on the side and that loves itself a bit of ram.

Just check you get the dual rank version as there's two versions.

From what i can see it seems to be pot luck what you get depending on available supply at the time of manufacture. I would wait until it arrives and then order some if you actually need it. Nothing worse than the returns process :)
 
Alright i have ordered the ram :) will be here tomorrow. KF432S20IB1K2/32 is the model of fury impact i went for im pretty sure that's the dual rank one.

Make sure you watch a teardown video. The baseplate is a bit fiddly to get off and the EMI shield over the RAM just pops off, there's no screws.

i will watch a video before i do it anyway, i have taken the legions apart before however as i had a legion 5p with a 2060 so if it’s similar to that then no problem :)

Clearly some improvements made :) could you by any chance share your zen timings screenshot so i can compare and ensure mine has gone full speed out of the box. So odd that there is absolutely no control over these speeds inside the bios.

I just bought a "Targus EcoSmart Cypress 15.6" Large Backpack - Black" and i was honestly amazed on the quality and how padded it was, it is not the cheapest bag out there but as soon as i had it in person i was not disappointed.

They look nice! Much of a gap in the 15.6? Would need to squeeze in a 16”
