Learnt a valuable lesson that budget boards should not be pushed to the extreme.

I was greeted by a rather burnt looking board today as it cooked the VRMs when I was pusing for 4ghz

Im now systemless till my M4A785TD-V EVO arrives tomorrow, I nearly went for the Crosshair III but I have no use for Crossfire.

Pics to come once Ive stripped it.

I have said it before, GA-G31-ES2L £35 quid and it has had my e2140 @ 3.5 GHz , got my Q6600 to 3.5 GHz, not pushed further due to heat but water pump was dispatched today.

I got a new motherboard in today so dont know if I will ever get water on it but.......wait I smell burning

On a side note sorry to hear about the board :(

thats the back of the board cant see much from the front on the pic. At least it gives me an excuse to get something that I drop a second card in to fold on :P

Im blaming you RJK you said 1.6 volts would be perfectly fine. If that wasnt sarcasm dom its the bit that should be blue thats green on the upper left.
