Learnt a valuable lesson that budget boards should not be pushed to the extreme.

I was greeted by a rather burnt looking board today as it cooked the VRMs when I was pusing for 4ghz

Im now systemless till my M4A785TD-V EVO arrives tomorrow, I nearly went for the Crosshair III but I have no use for Crossfire.

Pics to come once Ive stripped it.

I have said it before, GA-G31-ES2L £35 quid and it has had my e2140 @ 3.5 GHz , got my Q6600 to 3.5 GHz, not pushed further due to heat but water pump was dispatched today.

I got a new motherboard in today so dont know if I will ever get water on it but.......wait I smell burning

thats the back of the board cant see much from the front on the pic. At least it gives me an excuse to get something that I drop a second card in to fold on

You may be able to solder some new VRM's in if you're feeling brave... But if the PCB tracks have melted then new board time.

Im blaming you RJK you said 1.6 volts would be perfectly fine. If that wasnt sarcasm dom its the bit that should be blue thats green on the upper left.
