It's not MsPaint either. ;)
fine... its macromedia fireworks :p
but honestly i am only using the brush tool and colours (using the sample colour tool) which is the only advantage over paint i've got.

edit: i sample a colour, colour in a section of the image... sample another colour... colour in another section and repeat.

same thing can be done in paint, but i couldn't be arsed to use custom colours :o

Without wanting to extend this derailment, mspainting basically means no anti-aliasing or smudging etc, that's what gives them the crappy look. Even if you don't use mspaint, you need to make it look like you did. :)

Oh stop it, your image is full of soft edges and anti-aliasing. If you use a proper paint app you need to set brush hardness to 100%, like it is in mspaint.

Of course, you can do them any way you want, but it's not in the spirit of the thread. :)

I don't understand the point in lying, you used a filter.. big deal.

Before you argue that you've haven't and you've just used colour sampling etc etc etc, line up your original and "paint" version together. They allign perfectly.

Top layer is the painted version at 50% opacity. No blurring, just lines up perfectly. ;)
