With current 1080 ti prices they cant leap too far ahead with the specs as the price will put the average buyer off.

10 - 15% performance over the 1080 ti sounds plausible.

I would assume that once the 1180 is out 1080Ti will end up like the 980Ti did, get a nice discount, be cleared out and 1180 will be the new king. Been like this for a long time now, unless something changes I am confused why every time a new gen is coming out people come out with the same comment.

I remember when the 10 series was coming out lots of people would say it cannot be faster and cheaper. If it is faster it will cost more yada yada. If it was like this graphics cards would cost more than a house by now.
