Does anyone remember what the first J-RPG released on the 360 was called?
I remember liking it a lot. It was fairly linear but I enjoyed playing through it.
Enchanted arms ?

What's your point? It's pretty decent, its not outstanding or even very good by JRPG standards, but there's no way someone can argue it has no merits what so ever.
The only real reason it gets so much flak is because it is a Final Fantasy game and because of this higher standards of storytelling are expected from it. If you take away the name what's left is a perfectly playable JRPG, nothing special by any means, but certainly worth the outing for someone who's a fan of JRPGs.
Yeah always with those trolling pictures or gifs.
I did have a few counterpoints spring to mind but looking at your post history it seems you have a fetish for FFXIII hate anyway, so this is a pointless debate.
Nah go on. I'm interested now.

It's not even a decent JRPG though - even if you ignore the fact it's a Final Fantasy game.
Why?
- It's easy
- The writing is atrocious - within the first 5 minutes of the game words like "Fal'Cie", "L'Cie", "Gran Pulse" are thrown around very regularly.
- It's extremely linear
- It has one side quest (collectively, the monster challenges)
- The combat system takes 20 hours to get interesting.
- It has no towns
- Very basic equipment
- No character customisation
For some reason, people seem to think these flaws can be ignored. The game has a few positives (graphics, the music, err, a couple of the boss monsters in the side quest) but the sheer crappiness of the game dwarfs these.
If it actually had a decent storyline a lot of these would be forgiveable but that's even sub par. There's absolutely no way someone can be taken seriously if they think FFXIII is a good game.
It's simple. You think FFXIII is decent? You have no taste*.
