I bought some goodies on Friday and they came on Saturday (Though it was 1 OCUK order the bits came at different times in different vans which I thought was strange). Anyhoo. Goodies were:

  • ASUS STRIX Z270G mATX
  • Fractal Design Define C Mini TG
  • 500Gb Samsung 960 Evo M.2 SSD
Basically bits to allow me to move so the much smaller case:

My first new build for about 15 years. Got a bundle r7 1800x, cooler, Vega 64, motherboard and ram and chose remaining components after reading the forums - thanks folks.

And it all works, memory runs 3200 when enabled xmp in bios and am now playing with wattman settings.

Now mjust waiting on a new aoc 200 quid monitor to complete it as my ancient samsung isnt even full hd.

Oops no pics, is there a size limit ? Fixed now (thanks Danny) - bit grainy and not as fancy as any of the rigs on show! - Luckily it was Black Friday week so it didn't quite come to this total!
