I doubt even that, the french electrics and bendy plastic needle couldn't take the speed.

moss said:Aye, my mates old 1.2 Billabongreached 120mph on the speedo. He traded it in for a 172, which then broke down 5 times in 3 weeks lol!
edit: like fox said above, its probably far less in reality.

a rough guide is 114bhp according to some though I would say its more like 130bhp needed

Clio 1.4 16v: 98bhp / 116mph / 0-60 10.2
Saxo VTR: 90bhp / 116mph / 0-60 9.9
Not much in it tbh, unless you have the 100bhp VTR which is 0.8 seconds quicker and can do a couple more mph.

But I really dont give a flying *** about who would win the race though. Grow up.

Are these faster 0-100 than a Saxo VTR???
GT3 said:The 306 takes about 10 seconds longer. (I'm not joking)

The Phase 1 and Phase 2 pre '99 Turbo Diesel 306 came with two different types of fuel pump, the Lucas Pump or Bosch Pump, and two different types of Turbo, the KKK turbo and the Garret T2 Turbo. With a couple of simple modifications to these components, the power of a standard Dturbo could be raised from 92bhp to around 115bhp.
