The last 12 or so months I have tried out many brands of jeans, from Primark, to Next, H&M, GAP etc etc. Everything!

Levis, are by far, the best for my. They fit perfectly.

I have decided to buy a few more pairs. Now, sadly, they are not cheap! Does anyone know where I can pick them up cheaper than the highstreet?

Thanks

EDIT: Have to be genuine, not cheap knock offs. I wear them to work. So durability is a big thing and the 2 pairs I have now are perfect.

should have thought about this before you went to America!

I know! totally skipped my mind!

I'm the same only buy 501's, they just fit better and last longer than any other brand I've had.

I do tend to buy them from the high st though. Pretty much the only thing I do buy irl these days. £70/£80 per pair is standard.

Yea, tis fairly expensive. I am often lugging computers around, scrambling about on the floor of a dusty comms room, or under desks. Just general light wear and tear stuff and they have held up perfectly! Not one loose seem!

Best part is, I can wear them to work, get stuck in with them on and go to the pub after work and still look fairly respectable with a shirt on!

I too get the 501's. Original cut always wins :)

Huh, little sale going on on the Levis site... Nothing to write home about.

I normally get mine from House of Fraser in the Oracle, Reading. But they never have a sale on :(

I cant fit in levis :( I cant fit my chunky thighs in most straight leg jeans. I have to buy the ole comfort fit jobbies from other brands. Shame as i like 501s bit heavy though. Got quite fond of hilfiger denim lately and bench for cheaper stuff (only one of the cheaper brands that fit).

Oddly, this was a slight concern for me as well! But I am still able to pinch the thigh cut's and get around half 3/4 of an inch between my fingers when I sit down. So it's not overly tight.

But other than that, they are the most comfy jeans I have ever worn haha. Specially after a few days wear when they get all soft :D

Am I alone in thinking Levi's seem such an old outdated brand of jeans?

Brand means jack to me. If Pimark gave me the same results, I would wear those.

Levis really do fit me very well and not going to lie, my skinny arse looks much nicer in them haha.

I always run into the problem of leg too short as well... But Levis, nope :)

Oddly, next was the worst fitting for me! 32" waist was too small but the legs were perfect, 34" and the legs were silly.

I just didn't find them comfortable.

The only down side at the moment is I'm putting weight on... After 25 years of being able to eat anything and everything and still end up a skinny sod. I quit smoking almost a year ago now and as a result... Podge :(

So my Levis are a little tight around the belly at the moment, but that's my own fault, need to sort out my diet and get back into running.

Didn't know there was one in Bicester! Need to make a trip there, got to take advantage of the 2 for £80 thing on Levis (only one I can think of is in Antrim and was the useful place to stop on the way home from over there).

Also 514's all the way nothing beats a slimmer but straight leg fit...

And Levis are the only brand to do a decent shaped 32 waste 34 leg for the taller thinner man.

This! Exactly what I get and it's PERFECT! 6'2" tall and my jeans fit perfectly, and as a result. Look great!

Yes! My thoughts exactly  so many brands seem to fail miserably with the long leg smaller waste shape, I always feel spending the little extra on Levis ensures I don't look as gangly and odd for being tall and thin.

Hahahahaha, too funny. That's what I complained about with most of the other brands. Get into the changing room with a 32 waist and just sigh at the ankle swinging leg length.

I don't like my trousers legs to sit high, if I had my shoes off, just a fingers width from the ground at the back of my ankle. Maybe a bit less. Correctly fitting length and Levis are the only jeans to get both the waist and leg perfect. Although my ever growing podge belly is starting to effect the fit haha.

They don't, they do initially after a wash, but after a few hours wearing them, they stretch out a bit. All jeans do this.

Levis do have a range of shrinking jeans. Don't see the point personally. I don't want tights haha.

I kinda dislike that the jeans that fit me best are some of the most expensive around haha.

Why would your jeans smell?

I don't know haha, I have just never worn anything more than a week without washing it!

I walk 5 miles in them each day. And that's outside the office, inside I'm up and about all the time. I get the train and sit on those seats that probably haven't been washed in 15 years.

I guess I should leave them and see what happens! I am a bit of a clean freak.

Also, anyone know the reason for washing jeans inside out? I do it religiously and always hang dry them. But don't know why...

I thought about grey as well! Can you get a picture of them? If that's not too weird. Is it the pastel grey ones?

Thanks
