Levis jeans

They don't, they do initially after a wash, but after a few hours wearing them, they stretch out a bit. All jeans do this.

Levis do have a range of shrinking jeans. Don't see the point personally. I don't want tights haha.

I kinda dislike that the jeans that fit me best are some of the most expensive around haha.

Shrink to fit is a throwback to the past when Levis 501 would shrink, it's more to do with how they age/fade. Levis switched to sanforising their jeans
especially for the 502 and 505 range as there was an issue with shrinkage and the zipper fly.

I'll be getting a few pairs of Levis from the states next week. I normally pick them up in a department store for between 30 and 40 dollars a pair. Levis stores in America are expensive compares to the department stores.

7 for all mankind jeans are very cheap in America and insanely expensive over here.

Do you mean outlet stores?

I got 2 pairs for $35 each last week at the Orlando outlet.

No, I mean Macy's or Dillard's or Kohl's etc. Outlets are pretty cheap too but the actual 'Levis' stores like we have here on high streets are expensive in comparison.

I remember getting a pair of Timberland shoes and a pair of Levis for 50 quid combined in a Macy's just outside of Monterey, CA. The reason I remember it so well is:

A: It was stupid cheap
B: MrsYoustolemyname nearly ran a bloke over at the Pedestrian Crossing....

:)

The ladies lose there mind when a bargain has just been had.

I find this too - £80 for a pair of jeans is ridiculous.

So I just stock up when on holiday in the US, usually get enough to last until the next time. Last couple were $60 for two.

I only buy mine from outlet stores, usually 2 for £80-90. There's one down in Portsmouth, or you could try the one in Bicester Village.

Edit - 501s all the way.

Do they sell real 501s here in the uk? i.e made in the USA

edit looks like they do at £129 ouch

Levis factory outlet. Here you can get buy one get one free/half price most of the time.

Find your nearest factory outlet.

I have found the Levi Outlet the best place to buy them, bought 8 pairs of 501's of various washes and a couple of pairs of 751's when there was a real good discount a year or so ago, bought a pair of 511's a few months ago for £30 for the Outlet, so basically watch the Levi Outlet as to when they have good deals on and away ya go...

Costco Costco Costco!! They have a range of shades of levi 501s for £36 inc vat. Yes you need to be a member but at £20 a year you've paid for your first year with the first pair...

I work there (Gunwharf, not Levis :p) so it's a matter of walking up some steps and I'm there :p

After seeing them in TKMaxx I liked the look of the 514's, as the black was BLACK not the usual washed out looking black. Seem pretty comfortable, sick of wearing baggy jeans :P
I picked up a light grey pair too, not sure if it's a doable colour tho lol

It won't be BLACK after a few washes you realise :p

Unless you're like that other guy here who never washes his jeans!

I thought about grey as well! Can you get a picture of them? If that's not too weird. Is it the pastel grey ones?

Thanks
