Levis jeans

My commuter 511's are like the greatest thing in the world. Much better than pretty much anything else I've tried that are cheaper.

I picked a bunch of mine up from an official outlet at student discount....

Find yourself a student :p

I only buy mine from outlet stores, usually 2 for £80-90. There's one down in Portsmouth, or you could try the one in Bicester Village..

Didn't know there was one in Bicester! Need to make a trip there, got to take advantage of the 2 for £80 thing on Levis (only one I can think of is in Antrim and was the useful place to stop on the way home from over there).

Also 514's all the way nothing beats a slimmer but straight leg fit...

And Levis are the only brand to do a decent shaped 32 waste 34 leg for the taller thinner man.

Oddly, next was the worst fitting for me! 32" waist was too small but the legs were perfect, 34" and the legs were silly.

I just didn't find them comfortable.

The only down side at the moment is I'm putting weight on... After 25 years of being able to eat anything and everything and still end up a skinny sod. I quit smoking almost a year ago now and as a result... Podge :(

So my Levis are a little tight around the belly at the moment, but that's my own fault, need to sort out my diet and get back into running.

I bought some wesc jeans they were all right, although they have some fake fade on them which does not look very good, but i got them on sale for £35. wesc i think is Japanese denim.

The reason i buy levi is because its the only brand that sells, non tight, loose fitting, non shiny and with non of that fake fade. I am actually a 36 but i like my jeans loose so i buy a size up and short legs.

This! Exactly what I get and it's PERFECT! 6'2" tall and my jeans fit perfectly, and as a result. Look great!

I prefer Diesel jeans. They're far better fitting and actually seem to last. Every pair of 501's I've owned rip/fray around the crotch area.

Yes! My thoughts exactly  so many brands seem to fail miserably with the long leg smaller waste shape, I always feel spending the little extra on Levis ensures I don't look as gangly and odd for being tall and thin.

Hahahahaha, too funny. That's what I complained about with most of the other brands. Get into the changing room with a 32 waist and just sigh at the ankle swinging leg length.

I don't like my trousers legs to sit high, if I had my shoes off, just a fingers width from the ground at the back of my ankle. Maybe a bit less. Correctly fitting length and Levis are the only jeans to get both the waist and leg perfect. Although my ever growing podge belly is starting to effect the fit haha.

501s are supposed to shrink!

Funny that, when i asked the girl when buying my jeans, that if they will shrink she categorically said no they wont and if they do you wont notice the difference.

Like i said i just dont like the fit of them, tried a few pairs a couple of weeks ago and compared to my G Star jeans..the fit for me was rubbish. Id rather spend my £100 on a pair of decent fitting g star jeans.

Oh yes thats another thing i didnt like about my Levi's, they frayed around the crotch area and the pockets ended up getting holes in them :/

They don't, they do initially after a wash, but after a few hours wearing them, they stretch out a bit. All jeans do this.

Levis do have a range of shrinking jeans. Don't see the point personally. I don't want tights haha.

I kinda dislike that the jeans that fit me best are some of the most expensive around haha.

Have a terrible time finding decently fitting jeans these days :( they all seem to be styled either for girly men who like the waist below the hip and hugging the thighs or XXXXL.

I have owned many pairs of jeans in my life and by far and away the best, are Nudie. I will not buy anything else now. They may well cost a fair amount of money but the quality and comfort is unsurpassed and they flatter like no others.

I dont know tbh, ive been wearing my g star jeans for a few yrs and compared to my Levi's they have lasted far longer. I dont wash my jeans all that much, about every 2-3 mths before i chuck them in the wash unless they get really dirty.

I know Levi's do a range of jeans and a few weeks ago i tried on a pair that were similar to my G star ie tapered near the bottom but they just didnt feel right to me.
