** LG 21:9 GAMING/CINEMA MONITORS NOW AVAILABLE!!**

Do all OcUk member adhere to the word of Linus?

yes of course all hail linus!
Haha but on a more serious note i just think he does really good reviews.. one thing to watch with these monitors is they only have 2 height adjustments and you have to unscrew screws to change the height

That 34UM95 is gorgeous, ticks all the right boxes including the AG coating.

Using a versa mount stand isn't an issue either. Very tempting.

The Sapphire Tri-X seem to have very good reviews and stay cool and quiet.

Nice I've always liked Saphire, i was thinking of getting a 290 reference and putting a water block on it because the refrence 290's just get too hot and loud  there's been some 290's on for £200 recently :D

LG Flatron monitors are excellent. Before i got into the proper "gaming" buzz, i had an old LG flatron monitor that lasted 7 years, then the power board went , fixed it for £20 and is now still working for a friend another 2 years later.

I'm definitely interested in the 34UM95.

Is the stock date confirmed? Any chance it might arrive in stock on Thursday for delivery on Friday?

I really cannot justify £800 but I really want this monitor

I felt the same. But that said I see it as an investment. I don't expect to buy another monitor for 5 years hopefully. That's how long my Samsung syncmaster 27" has been going and it's still like new. Sell it on and make back an admittedly small portion of the £800 asking price.

That said I might be a little economical with the truth when the Mrs asks about it. Still haven't told her I purchased yet. Will wait until delivery date confirmed but looking forward to that cinema experience !

My 290X happily runs my 1440p (I don't bother with AA), how big an impact would this sexy £800 beast have?

Pixel count would be up 33%, and if I ended up cross-firing, I would have to watercool as MATX, so overall costs would just be silly.
