Asked about release in Finland from LG:

"The display in question is part of the imports of LG Finland and it is available whenever distrubutors take it into their inventory.

So you can ask from distributors whether they are ordering this product or if they could order it by a request from a customer"


Any Finns interested in this monitor...time to start asking "pretty please" from all distributors.

Seems people in the UK may have to start saying please as well.

Not listed as in stock yet, so either they didn't come in last week as expected or processing black friday/cyber monday orders has taken priority. If I find out it's the latter I'll be a bit ****** off considering OCUK have had my money for three weeks.

Couldn’t agree more. Fair enough that sometimes delays can happen but to take money in advance is outrageous. Especially with no update either. It’s not like we’re talking a couple of hundred quid here. Can someone provide an update? (I can’t call due to work commitments otherwise I’d do it myself)
 
I should have mine soon they got stock here now :) i ordered and paid for it already so it should arrive here tomorrow :D

I got the update today but sadly is not that we want to hear "Hi there, your order is still waiting to ship as we are still waiting on stock of the monitor which should hopefully be with us by the end of this week as it is overdue already."
As promise was broken we should demand compensation, something like Bf5 for those who preordered.

Who promised you anything?

I was only aggrieved *if* OC had received stock as anticipated but were too busy to ship them. Since that appears to not be the case I have no complaints.

Fair enough the delivery date is longer than expected. These things can happen. But what business these days keeps hold of money for weeks on end if there is no end sight? I expect early December at the earliest now.

I don't think promises were broken although that would be a nice gesture considering that they've been holding on a lot of cash for a month without giving anything in return.

I believe it is! As no one get email at 23Rd of " your order on it's way" im already need to pay interest on my credit card for this purchase, but delivery date is still unknown. So as nice gesture we should be compensated?

The thing is the 23rd was just an estimated date heard over the phone. They never said they will ship them on the 23rd. At least they never told me that. Though I agree I think a nice gesture (game/gift card/weekend shipment) would be welcome as I am seriously contemplating cancellation now, given the uncertainty of this virtual purchase in which I got myself into and the fact that this monitor is certainly not going to keep its £1100 price tag for long.

just to clarify, I am not sure where the date of the 23rd came from.

we are shipping the stocks into distie this week - and as soon as they land they will be turned around and sent to OCUK.

once I have the booking date within distie I can share it so you can have a better idea of the ETA into your homes :)

Date come from you, than from OCUK-rep to afew people(included me) who asked update on the order.
23.11.2018 they supposed to have monitors and start shiping to us. Update about my order from OCUK is few post above and rep said that monitors a late.
So with all respect Daniel-Lg, please don't denied that.
