LG 38UC99 purchase - Going from the Acer X34 to the LG

If that's true then it's wonderful news for all of us! Do you have any details on what LG did to fix it in this model, and whether the technique will be adapted for more conventional ratios as well? I'm still hoping for a good 30-32" QHD panel, but the current options (from every manufacturer) seem pretty slack with regards to BLB quality control.

Hopefully LG will implement this 'fix' across all of their monitor range

Correct - the "fix" is implemented at the manufacturing stage which should therefore mean all screens now are of a far better QC

and now we wait for the 32" 4K HDR

4k though... am I the only one doesn't like this many DPI? Windows scaling is not friendly :/
