C9, I've had to use the motion smoothing- but I do have it on a fairly low setting.Another year and I still bet they haven't remedied the judder whist panning
I've turned on the best LG have to offer on the M4/G4 but I notice the added soap opera effect.C9, I've had to use the motion smoothing- but I do have it on a fairly low setting.
I believe Panasonics have superior motion handling

I remember reading that Sony are the one's that have the closest fix.
It's an inherent issue with OLED technology.I've turned on the best LG have to offer on the M4/G4 but I notice the added soap opera effect.

I've played around with it on the lowest setting on cinematic movement or something or other. SOE still present.Try adjusting the setting, on max yeah it's terrible . But lower it and takes the juddering off now panning is smooth and not distracting, and I don't notice the soap opera effect.
I guess like setting games to 24hzcap...it's going to be juddery, so use "frame gen"

Yes I know. If Sony can do better than LG... They have to pull their finger out instead of marketing super hyper infinite brightness. It's an inherent issue with OLED technology.
Sony supposedly have the better solution, which is why I still have an 83" Sony A90J for my TV and movie watching, but it's not the brightest HDR.
Cinematic I personally find OK for the movement. But I did notice it coming from my old basic LED TV, but I forced myself to get used to it. I do notice the judder when watching sports, so then I whack it on Smooth. Turn it back to Cinematic for everything else. For day to day stuff I'm used to it now after 3 years of OLED ownership.
Nope, Panasonic still have the micro stutter, Sony still top of the tree by some way when it comes to processing and motion.C9, I've had to use the motion smoothing- but I do have it on a fairly low setting.

Usually from spring onwards. As for pricing, look at the G5 prices they will be similar. They usually release at full RRP and then discounts appear over time. IMO you'd be better buying a G5 in a few months rather than a G6 but then that is almost always the case.Might consider the G6. Currently on an E8. Any idea on the pricing and release date?
I wonder if there will be a discount for the first orders like Sony did with the Bravia II.Usually from spring onwards. As for pricing, look at the G5 prices they will be similar. I bought the G5 back in October. Don't regret it. The G6 is a bit brighter (unecessary for me) and has a slightly better anti reflective coating. The coating on the G5 is already plenty good enough for me, coming from a 10 year old Samsung LCD.
Definitely not worth the upgrade. Just ****** most of the manufacturers have dropped DTS support.
It's something I can work around as I use a Shield into my soundbar and then into the TV, but the Shield and soundbard are not HDMI 2.1, so I sometimes run into bandwith issues with full quality 4K bluray rips with uncompressed audio etc. I don't need DTS audio for anything from the TV, so it's workable. It's just frustrating that you pay £2k for a TV and the manufacturer wants to skimp on a couple quid for a licence. Why not give the end user the possibility to pay for it via an app or extension if they want it?pretty annoying if you use onboard streaming apps into soundbar/avr, E-ARC.
Otherwise you need a dedicated streamer then send audio from that into the soundbar/avr. I don't use sound out from TV at all, although with E-ARC I have ability.
