Lian Li Lancool 207

Will you be using the included fans or swapping in your own fans?

I think Gearseekers implied that you might not be able to swap out the front 140 fans for alternative fans due to a lack of clearance.

I'm happy to be proved wrong on this and order one myself, but I would want to swap in my existing Noctua fans.

Every review I've seen that tries to swap the front fans out can't do it, provoked prawn tried to swap all the fans to Noctua. It's why I didn't go for this case.

Which PSU are people intending on using/purchasing for a build in this case? The length of the CPU pin cables were an issue for one reviewer.

Late reply and you probably have the answer by now.

The ideal PSU is the Lian Li Edge or any that follow the same format from now on.

You can also locate regular format 150mm Length or under PSUs on ************ using the filters on the left. Some decent 140mm Length ATX choices exist but check the cables in case they are lacking a 12+4 Pin VHPWR connector and you need that.

SeaSonic Focus GX ATX 3.0 V4 (2024) or ATX 3.1 have them.

looking at this case but not sure if it would even work for my old build sat in a Define R4. RM650x is 160mm but may be a tight fit. The killer is that i have 2 SSDs and 1 HDD so i think this case is a no go sadly.

There's plenty of space under the tray where the PSU sits at the front for a Hard Drive or 2.5 SSD's.

Just built a pc in one of these, great little case, NZXT C1200 fits perfectly, as does a rather large Thermalright Phantom Stealth cooler and XFX 7900xt, including the support bar.

One thing to note, I fitted a MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk mobo, the lowest rear cable management strap/bar had to come out in order for the Front USB port to connect properly, they are directly in line. Didn't affect wiring too much thankfully, but something to consider if you choose this combo.

Let us know how you get on with dust ingress. Some reviewers have stated that they intend to create a mesh dust filter to position at the rear of the perforated case below the level of the shroud case fans.

Will do, that wouldn't be difficult to do. Back in the day, cases used an "open" foam as mesh, could easily implement something like that back there. and secure with some small zip ties Which I may well do! Will see what I can find.

I've been using this case for a few weeks, dust seems to collect on the outside so you can just wipe it off. Only time will tell.

The first thing I did was swap the two lower fans with Noctua and put a third on the back (nothing at the top for now). Even at the minimum 400 rpm, the I can hear the front fans so at some point I'll replace them.
The airflow is so good in this case that all my Noctua fans including the CPU, don't spin at idle!

This doesn't come with an adaptor to be able to turn the psu around to face backwards does it? Both of my bigger psus in terms of power are also bigger in length (170mm) which sadly rules this out I think as I was liking it as an option since I can't find the Lian Li A3 Wood in stock

Built a PC in the Lancool 207 yesterday, it's a very nice case to work in.
Plenty of places for good cable management, well designed and laid out case.
GPU support bracket came in very handy and can be moved around to fit different lengths and thickness of the GPUs.

My Antec HCG 1200W power supply just fit in it at 160mm in length, the back side panel shuts nicely with no bulging and doesn't seem to be any pressure on the cables.

Going to finish setting up the PC today, so will monitor temps etc, but it gets a good review on gamers nexus website for this aspect.
