My six hard drives behind the door / front fan are are obviously way too hot because of it and are all going to fail imminently.

The reason why I went for a v2000 in the end(Other than the fact that it was very hard to get hold of the pc-201 at the time) was the fact that I want a visable phase controller display mounted on the front. This would have been very hard to incorporate into the door, whereas its relatively easy to mod a v2000 5 1/4" bezel.

Can you comment on noise from the blower fan if you have the plus version, and also noise and dust in general? I am a little concerned about the perforated design, as the wooden floor of our office at home seems to attract dust like no other.
