I've watched the last three episodes, and thought it was great. Just a shame I managed to miss the first two :(

And managing to go from a thread about life on mars, to arguing about last/next/this Saturday is quite impressive :p

Blame Rotty he is chronologically challenged.
Last nights episode was great, I am looking forward to next weeks episode which is obviously next week as last nights was this weeks as it is in the same week.
I also look forward to the release fo the DVD set which is hopefully this year on this coming boxing day as opposed to next years boxing day :P

God's sake fellas getting a bit trivial here aren't we :p

Anyway back ontopic, fantastic show, fantastic acting, fantastic script etc etc etc.

Best thing on tv atm seen as Top Gear is having a break. Shame there's only three episodes left, gonna make monday night's dull again :(

Monday BBC1 9pm.
Fantastic.

no you're not - best thing on telly by miles!!!

actually makes you sit back and realise just how much has changed. Not just physical elements but peoples attidudes.

love it :)

I havn't seen any of it but I usually like John Simm, he was very good in the lakes and sex traffic. I just get the feeling that this is just a bit to light and fluffy for my liking.

There was a policeman and woman sat near me on the train the other day and they were saying it's good but a bit silly.

loved last weeks episode the bit about red rum winning the national should have had more money on :D
and this week
the coppers getting out the transit van near the end going for a good punch up at the footy one had a cricket bat :D

Nope, it's brilliant. One of the best things on TV at the moment - not that it has much competition in that respect!

Lots of funny lines, great music, great acting, and love the stunned looks when Sam asks for things like a police radio, or a fingerprint check on a body. It's amazing how much stuff we take for granted nowadays that they just didn't have 30 years ago.

They are planning a second series in April apparently, so I'm guessing we might not find out what it's all about as soon as I'd hoped :(

Well, wasn't last nights episode stupid? They knocked the gun out of his hands then run away leaving him to pick up the gun and follow them!
Anyone notice that his watch would not have been available in 1973?

Last nights was the weakest of the lot imo! Still very enjoyable though, it's moved the general coma story on a bit. Just got to find out how it finishes as I can't see how they can leave him in 1973! "He's bleeding whisky" !

Generally I find it to be a bit more of a glammed up Sweeney, everything more styled, great music, clothes the cars and not as gritty. It makes it fun to watch in a different way.

Thats exactly what I was screaming at the tv! I guess people were stupider in the 70s or the writers are getting lazy and assuming we're the stupid ones for believing that cack :p

I concur, last nights was pretty weak compared to the rest although the sheer quantity of hip flasks was very funny as was the "bleeding whisky" comment.
The comments about the WPC in nurses uniform also raised a few chuckles.

Why they did not effect the arrest once the man was disarmed is beyond me, it didn't quite fit. Still love the series though :)

Life on Mars is great, not least because of the fab 70's cars. Cortina GXL anyone?
