reminds me of that pay day games deals they did, think matey got the sack for that.

I have some halogens in my kitchen back at home that last about 5 mins and are the only none energy saving bulbs in my house.
The LED equivalents were around £20 each and TBH they are so dim they arent worth having. not sure about these types though.

Out of intrest did somebody get the PO for some Case lights wrong and now your stuck with a load of these or is OCUK branching out into even more fields?

try using 3x2w cool white i have these in place of my old 50w halogens and these are much brighter i got em from a well know auction site for £10 each inc delivery just make sure they are cree not the cheaper ones
you can get em cheaper but i wanted dimmable ones so they don't blind me when i go for a drink in the middle of the night :p

Can you get 4Ghz on air with these light bulbs?

What waterblocks are compatible with them?

Can they allow me to play Crysis at 60fps solid?

Inquiring minds need to know....

They stocked car polish for a long time remember...

See that was an idea that should have been continued, they should have expanded the range and sold things like micro fibres and polish applicators, even if the polish was rubbish.

Why are these LED bulbs so expensive? I was buying custard creams in Lidl just yesterday and noticed LED lightbulbs (although only in ES fitting, not bayonet) at a shade over £5 and I thought they were a bit pricey for what they are considering the relative cost of high output cell LEDs by cree in other devices (especially torches).

Plus, the savings calculated don't add up although people above have mentioned this already.

How do these overclock?

Would be interested to the actual money savings though... I'd doubt that £700 of our electricity bill is lighting! I'd bet that lighting is actually a very insignificant part of the bill!

We were buying a new tumble dryer the other week... and there was a model for £200 more but used less electricity. Did the maths and with our use & electricity price it'd only break even after 4 years of use.... well most of our tumble dyers have died at only 3 years old!
