If it were £100 cheaper I would definitly buy it the trials were great but for a home hobbyist it a damn expensive peice of software.
I quite liked the beta, I'll be a longtime saving for the release though![]()
I'd love to know through a poll of all the photoshopers on here who actually uses legit software. I don't pp yet other than the free DPP and whenever I look at the price of software I think it's mad.
Surely they could learn a lesson from the price on pre-order for windows 7 to get more people actually buying their software for home use. I literally know of no one in real life who actually has legit copies of any of these post processing tools outside of the workplace.
Surely selling these items lightroom and photoshop for home use for £80 each would generate them a lot more money than they currently make?

I have a legit copy of CS4, and really like it.
But I also love Lightroom, and use Lightroom 2.5 (got this and CS4 very cheap whilst at uni).
Now I really want LR3, but alas cannot afford it.
Are there any differences between the Student and normal version's of the software, other than price?
