I tried the Lightroom 4 Trial the other day and it's way quicker than Aperture 3 is. I'm in two minds now whether to make the switch, or wait and see whether Apple bring out a new version of Aperture soon.
Silly question, if I upgrade to this are all my catalogue edits going to be exactly the same? None of the edits are going to get altered slightly in any way?

Shouldn't do, I upgraded from 2.x to 4 (mac version) and everything seems fine with the approx 4000 photos in my library, but don't take that as gospel, there maybe some changes to my photos, but I haven't noticed, then again I still trawling through photos I took in 2006
LR 4 exporting issue
Anyone having issues, ive started to find that once I export to .jpeg from an original RAW file that the export loses a lot of the sharpening. Ive not really noticed this before until today but thats only probably because iam using LR more and noticing more things.
A quick google serch seems to suggest there has been a problem for awhile. Maybe I need to change my export settings?
