Seeing the amount people spend on their camera kit, accessories (memory cards alone), bags to put it all in I don't think £100 a year is all that bad for the very latest Adobe offerings.
I think I'll stick to my suggestion in this thread and go with Luminar.
I'm using the 7 day trial to test and so far I am impressed with its features and intuitiveness.
As far as I can tell, Luminar 3 is okay if you have the latest and greatest PC, if you don't... beware!
Have you overclocked the 2600K?Hmmmm, going to make the most of the trial and run tests before purchasing. Thanks for the heads up.
I'm on an i7 2600k with 8GB DDR3 running on an SSD which is far from latest and greatest but so far have not experienced any issues.

Well LR loves high Ghz and running a 2600K at 4.5Ghz is relatively easy as most would do 4.2Ghz-4.3Ghz on default voltages. No, have been running at stock since I've had it. I've not really had the need to squeeze out more from it.
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014)What are the specs of your system? I found Luminar 3 to not run well on my specs.
