Like a Golf..

You think that is expensive? It costs me 900quid to tax it here in Ireland

Sorry for thread hijack...
Did you fit the suspension on your V5 yourself?
What's the ride like?

Thinking about doing something with mine as it drives like a boat...but don't wanna sacrifice too much comfort.

She'd probably love the GTV, but not sure she'll be ready to pay to run it!

On the 2.0 TS you're looking at cambelt every 36k miles, potential issues with the cam variator as well as the usual Alfa fun with electrics etc...

The 2.0TS I had never placed a foot wrong (granted I only had it briefly :p). Easily the best sounding 4-pot ever too.

Agree with the sound point, they do sound brilliant for a 4 pot petrol.

There's nothing wrong with them fundamentally, although they do have a tendancy to use a bit of oil and using the wrong oil can lead to other issues later down the line. They're fine if you keep an eye on them and service them properly, I'm just not sure that's what Miss Fox is after

Actually, being high up makes women feel more important and that my friends, is what women need more than air, to feel important.

My wife absolutely loved drivng my Jeep. Given a choice she'd use that every time. Only time she'd give it back was when it needed more fuel (so pretty much every other day :) )

Not suggesting a Jeep clearly but women do have a secret fancy of 4X4s.
