When she first came to prominence she was lauded as this virtual nobody who had recorded music in her bedroom and was 'discovered' by the internet. Truth is she had thousands of pounds of professional recording kit bought by her old man and the whole 'discovered' thing was a massive marketing con.
 
Christ, what on earth happened to her? I can't believe i used to think she was cute af 10 years ago. To be fair i really liked her first album and it's full of really catchy tunes.

Glad she's gone from twitter, she needs time to disappear, heal and maybe write music again
 
By “not there yet” does she mean that she just cant bring her self to stop whoring social media?

reminds me of people i know who left faceache because they wanted a break from social media only to move onto instacrap instead because “its just pictures”

She’s the epitome of the new Left, a sneering, buzzword screeching, dimwit. Fortunately I think we’ve passed peak woke, so her and her ilk will be slowly marginalised. Of course they wont go quietly, so expect a tsunami of fake hate crimes.

Odious personalities such as Lily Allen have also contributed to the rejection and resentment of the political left in my opinion. When you quite unjustly start calling people idiots and racists because they don't align with your world view, you alienate them, especially the ones that can think for themselves.

I can't help but think that this election has not only been about the likes of Brexit, but also a backlash against the war of attrition on anything beyond left-of-centre over the past few years by the likes of her and those in the metropolitan media.

Suck it up.
