LIMBO!

I don't know what to make of it. I didn't feel any sense of awe or wonderment during the trial. I got stuck in the end when confronted by a certain 'something' (no spoilers from me) so I gave up and won't be buying.

It's good, but short. Had a play for about an hour, then checked the leader boards and I was 61% through the game :/
Yeah I saw that mentioned on a review too, he said he had played for about an hour and was about 40% through.

I had been looking forward to this, but seeing that coupled with the 1200 points it costs I think I'll pick it up when they do an offer on it. Had they priced it at 800 points I think I'd be playing it now.

Also got stuck there,,,

Finished it earlier today. The most effectively atmospheric puzzler I have ever played. This one trumps Braid for me. No easier but manages to be slightly less frustrating. As is typical with games these days it does feel rather short though. Not that it's any less worth it though. Relatively hard looking achievements too rather than 200gs for finishing it once.

Finished...

It's very good. I haven't played a game so wonderfully atmospheric in a long time, the art style is beautiful, the sound usage is very good, both these really drag you into the world. The puzzles are tough but never frustrating...

however it is pretty short, think I did it in about 4 hours ish, could take you shorter or longer depending on how easy you find the puzzles. I can see myself playing it through again in the future, and it is worth it if you want to support original games like this and Braid.

Well. Purchased, downloaded and finished all since that last post. :(

I have to say; while good and inventive it just isn't worth the money. Over far too quick, no story at all (and therefore couldn't care for the characters) and didn't feel at all satisfying to complete.

Wait for a hefty price drop or i think most here may well be disappointed.

:(

Thanks for the honest review, I'll hold off until it drops in price.

I have to agree with WeOwnTheSky, I liked the visual style but it doesn't come close to being as clever, as long or as good as Braid. Overpriced at 1200 points, my advice would be to save your money for something else.

I would concur with what's been put above. I'm loving it loads but the lack of story and any sort of emotion for the character makes it hard to really enjoy aspects of the game. Even if it had just something basic to go along with during it's progression it would have made it that little bit better. Still a cracking game though.

I've not finshed it yet though as I'm stuck on Chapter 11 I think it is and can't work it out at all and don't want to have to use a guide :( GRRR!
