limit FPS in games?

Hi guys,

Is there a peice of software that will allow me to limit my FPS in games to say 55?

Reason being, I am currently playing through RAGE. The VYSNC drives me mad but with it off, I am getting some horrendous tearing.

If there is something out there, I would love to give it a go.

i think MSI afterburner beta has an FPS limiter, but it was causing me a bunch of problems so i went back to the old beta (i didnt even try the FPS limiter)

I forced vsync in my driver software. Screen tearing was not noticed after this at a nice 60fps
