I have a big question

Is there a chance to limit someone on my wireless network? I use LAN, and don't mind limiting whole of Wless connection all together, becouse sometimes it ****es me off when someone is downloading or using skype. I use virgin media hub with modem router in one.

Any suggestions please?

Limit what? I assume you are talking about bandwidth?

When you say Virgin Media Hub, do you mean the superhub? Black thin box with the Virgin media logo on the side which glows blue/purple depending what mode you have it in.

Yep, i want to limit whole wireless or specific macs to 200kbps down 20kbps up, that will solve all my problems :D I have Netgear VMDG280, not sure if its superhub or not

The Superhub does not have this capability built in. What you are looking for is QoS (quality of service) features which will allow you to limit the bandwidth to each attached device.

From what I can see you have 2 options really (1st may not be practical):

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the help, installing something on the system in question is not possible. So basically i am stuck with router option, QoS compatible. Thank you :)
