RTM the threads then (if you already haven't) if you feel they are ridiculous and see if the mods do anything about them.

Maybe we should merge them all into a "we hate the PS3 - post here" thread? ;)

I'm not sure they are bad enough to warrant mod action but I could understand if Dolph did think repeated threads in a very similar vein was unnecessary :)

I just post the news , be it bad or good although i must admit most of it is negative for such an anticipated console, its no different from anybody else posting negative stuff about X or Y console or X or Y game, you don't have to agree and thats your right but facts are facts, its not my fault the PS3 is seemingly having problems before its even launched for whatever reasons and i think its only fair that articles like this get posted so that we are not all blinkered into thinking everything is hunky-dory.
 
Perhaps you would consider posting the source, when you copy/paste :) Otherwise it is sometimes hard to tell which are your words and which are someone else's.

That's the best idea I've heard in a long time. Would it be possible for a mod to go through all of the millions of "PS3 troubles" threads and merge them into one, please? Pretty please? :p
 
This is silly DirtyDog, you cant honestly infer that anyone who posts some news believes in it. He was just posting an article.. if the article was positive then we wouldnt have had any complaints and some normal conversation but as soon as its negative the Sonyboyz get all defensive. He wasnt bashing sony or the PS3..

the games were cancelled.. FACT!.. what more do you want to do?

I found it quite interesting to read and see reasons for cancellations if any.

Same goes for you elrazey, just because its not what you want to hear about the PS3 does not mean you need to sigh and huff...

If i was looking forward to the PS3 launch, which i am.. to see what happens really, then i would be posting in this thread saying its a shame that these games arnt coming to PS3 but that there are still some quality titles going to be released on the PS3..

Am I one of the Sonyboyz? :confused: :D I have an Xbox and a PS2...

I am not pro or against one 'side' or the other, in fact taking 'sides' is ridiculous. I am just bored of the constant and repetitive anti-PS3 stuff in this forum and I'm not the only one! :) Every day the same stuff is posted.

Let's wait until the PS3 comes out before judging it!

Personally I like to come here to review or contribute news I hear about gaming, I do not want to trawl through an endless PS3 thread that more or less contains all of this infighting bs. There is really one post worth reading in this thread, and that is the original one. Everything else (including this post) is needless filler. For that reason I do not want a 60 page deep Sony PS3 thread, because every piece of informative news would be accompanied by 2 pages of people arguing with you about how OcUK hates Sony.

DD You are as far as I can tell one of the biggest Sony fanboys on the site IMO. Its either that or you are a troll. In fact I think the latter may be true, because you are always in the PS3 threads and you are always trying to argue a lost cause.

There are some simple facts that you need to accept.
1)The PS3 is priced outside of the gaming market
2)Blu-Ray is as yet an unproven format and the market may accept an alternative
3)The Sony PR team seem to be selling a different console from the one the manufacturing team are developing.
4)There is a lot of negative press and internet feelings because Sony are so inconsistent with their messages
5)If the only news we receive is bad news then how are we to blame for passing that news on?
 
they can cancel anything they like for all i care, nothing interests me on the machine anyway. I'll be buying one to sell but im tonnes more excited about the upcoming 360 releases.

I am not a fanboy for any company, I just like balance and when I see one-sided-ness (is that a word :eek: ) I will say something :) I have defended the 360 also, when people have posted what I consider unreasonable attacks on it.

How was the documentation of several game titles being pulled from the Sony catalogue an unreasonable attack? :confused:

I am a ps3 fanboy. Cant miss out on MGS4, Devil may cry and Gran Turismo. PS3 for the win!! :D
