really into coors lite at the min, and enjoyed it a fair bit in my time over in America, really shocks me how few pubs stock lite beers, with half the amount of calories and little taste difference imo, I reckon it's about time we stocked up over here and gave the punters the choice, can't think of any of my locals that stock lite beers, I tried asda and tesco in Southampton and only found high priced 4 packs, was only Salisburys that had a create :(

from my time in America most bars had lite alternatives to all the big beers which is quite ironic for America of all places.

anyone know any big chains that sell cools or bud lite?

Maybe because Americans are not into alcoholism as much as the UK but they are far more into plowing through McDonalds bing macs.

i disagree, bud and cools lite taste good for larger. i have to watch my weight and enjoy a beer, i'm 6'3 and can happly sink 8 or 9 pints if i get carried away, that kind of buggers up my diet and fitness meaning i often end up drinking vodka/ whisky straight, i personally would like the choice

Iam not sure why people are calling the Op 'gay' who cares if he drinks what he drinks. whats that got to do with his sex tastes?

It's Coors, not "Cools", and if your experience in the States was anything like mine then I feel sorry for you. Ask for a draught beer and you get a crappy little glass half-filled with some weird 'beeresque' liquid and the other half is head.

It's fun to watch when any American mates come over here, they drink 2 or 3 pints of real beer and are plastered.
