I would also agree on the Asus board there.
Its a good board for its price.
I go with that, plus a fx 6300 and 8gb or ram.

What about a...
Gigabyte 78lmt-USB3 motherboard? they have a AM3+ socket?
I have been offered one £30 that includes 8GB of ram aswell?
that would be my thoughts. £30 for the mobo and ram £119.99 for the FX 8320 and you're on budget minus the p&pThe FX8320 is going to be a fair amount better than most of the others mentioned so far.
£30 for mobo / ram gives you more to spend on CPU.
The 4690k is a superior cpu to the 8350. If you have the option go with it.
mines is currently in the sabertooth board running at 3.6Ghz and running sweet.Ah the 1090t. I have fond memories of that. Such a good overclocker. Mine is still around somewhere I think![]()
Cheers bioshock!
I have set one the FX4300 which i am ordering tomorrow and i pick up the new board next week with the 8GB ram (this can be upgraded if it's rubbish ram)
looking forward to having a good(ish) computer again...
What CPU coolers are good for AMD ?
for an air cooler I would recommend the Cooler Master 212 EVO, excellent bit of kit for the price and will serve you well. If however you become like me and started to worry a little about having a massive slab of weighty metal hanging by four screws into your motherboard then you could go the water cooler route.
But for a simple Air Cooler that does the job (and very well I might add) then the Cooler Master 212 EVO is a simple solution and very good price at around £25 on OCUK.
