One of six cool things is no demo?
Other than that though looking good

Anyone afraid that there are going to be idiots online that will ruin the game in the same way as they do in FIFA by scoring own goals?
how sony will deal with the offensive and adult things created will be interesting
shame no demo till after release
always raises alarm bells but i am sure nothing to worry about

Hi Steven,
It’s great that you’re interested in working with us. I work for Shine Communications, a PR firm based in London . I’m working with PS3 on the launch of LBP. In about 3 – 4 weeks time I’ll have a fan pack to send to you, posters, exclusive images, that type of thing. I was hoping to get either your postal address, though if you’re not happy giving it out then have you got a PO Box I could send this to?
Before the launch we possibly might invite you to our office to test the game so you can tell your members about it – this should be in the next couple of weeks but we’re still waiting on dates. I’ll let you know ASAP. How many members does your group have?
Thanks
Tony
It works like youtube, if a level gets x amount of flags then it'll be deleted. Works for youtube, I don't see it being a problem for LBP. No one is going to go out of their way and spend ages on a level they know will get deleted.
should see some of the cars made on forza then must have taken ages
mind you i think they gave up deleting the offensive ones
i know forza threatned bans from live for such things how would this work on a free network surely the user can just keep on uploading the content under a new name?
Sony has confirmed to Eurogamer that it plans to moderate user-generated content in forthcoming PS3 exclusive LittleBigPlanet.
The news comes after TheSixthAxis reported users will be able to rate their own and each others' content, with legal action a possibility if "mature content" gets out of hand.
A Sony spokesperson has since confirmed, "We'll be moderating LittleBigPlanet's user-generated content in the same manner as we moderate all our online games. A good example of this is My SingStar."
In other words Sony will be keeping an eye out for filthy stuff, and will have the power to delete it if necessary.
Sony have said that they have two possible solutions to LBP players who create mature content (someone drawing a penis): self & community policing and the correcting power of legal action.
The first will be something similar to a user rating their own content, and then the community members who play it rating it too. If there is too much of a difference it is sent back to the author to re-rate it. The second is, like you’d expect, legal action.
However, it is fine if you create something obscene as long as you do not upload the level to the community, so you can still share it in your own circle of friends, regardless of how perverted it would be to see a cute little sackboy stood next to a penis that’s 5 times his size.
We can only assume that the mature content moderators will be called the Penispolice. That would be both cool and hilarious.
SONY said:"We want LittleBigPlanet to lead the charge into a new genre of gaming and turn Sackboy into the next emblematic character for the PS3," stated LBP marketer Mark Valledor. "We have coined 2008 'the year of the PS3', and are confident that with the launch of LittleBigPlanet we will continue to see the momentum build throughout the end of this year and on to the next ... This is a very big title for us."
