Might be something to do with the fact that one of the soundtracks of the game has lyrics from the Koran/Quran. :dunno:
 
Tempted to import it now. Place I ordered from says their suppliers saying 31st Oct now (1 week delay).

It is quite possible to get a USA copy delivered before next Friday.

I'm actually quite glad of a small delay in this game. What with Saints Row 2, PES 2009, X3: Terran Conflict and then next week FarCry 2 and Deadspace to keep me busy I just wont have time for them all :eek:

If that was the reason why is only the EU game getting delayed - though I can understand the delay if it was that reason...

Jihad against Sack people is uncalled for...

I ask because I might get Silent Hill, not sure I can be bothered to wait for it to get released over here.

Oh Dear. LittleBigPlanet, the PlayStation 3's biggest game of the year, has been delayed by around three weeks.

High street retailer **** has emailed LittleBigPlanet pre-order customers to alert them of a release slip to November 14.

Dear Mr **** ****

The release date of a product you have ordered has changed.

Product Little Big Planet in order ******** will now be released on Fri Nov 14 00:00:00 GMT 2008

It's not yet clear why this last minute delay has been brought into effect.

We've contacted Sony for official comment on the story, which will come as a massively blow for fans of the game. You'll just have to make do with re-reading our gushing review here.

Seems daft to delay the game due to one track that is commercially available at several online and brick and motar stores by an award winning artist lol. Its also on itunes so can i complain and get itunes closed down:D
Bit off a joke, the person who started this complaint has left his PSN etc in his post on the SCEE forums so i think he may want to change it soon

I have been playing a promotional copy while i was in London. Unfortunately i wasn't able to take it with me. Got to the third set of levels, 4 on each. It is superb.

The music is excellent and the Africa levels are really sweet. Just wish i played it more now!

It was funny as about a second after i loaded the game i got a message from Whappers saying "How did you get LBP so early?"

EDIT - I was part of the lot that said i didn't get LBP to begin with and didn't get the point in creating levels myself. The pre made levels are really nice!

I ordered anyway,

It's £33.48 at one place delivered and £32.99 at another. Ordered at more expensive place as they ship faster, normally.

Bloody muslims - its not like its in a game that will tarnish their culture...

Id be over the moon if some of the Sikh spiritual teachings were in LBP - hell it would make me buy it to see how theyve interpreted it.

Poor show from a somewhat backwards religion...
