Liverpool Sack Comolli

If he's the clown that handled the Suarez case that doesn't surprise me. Was mishandled from beginning to end.

Hope none of Rafa's youth team coaches are sacked, that's if they haven't already gone. Nicking them from Barcelona was a massive positive for the club.

Well Rafa is out of a job still! #findahomeforrafa

Jesus ***** ****ing christ.

I initially was agreeing with you while making a general point; you're just too defensive of Liverpool to see that.

mhm.

Yes, it would be. I wish more owners and chair 'people' were honest about their clubs, I wish it would knock down to the managers too.

I value honesty highly, I fully understand why managers don't want to be seen in public to be highlighting the failings of their players though.

Yes, Yes it would.

Not before a huge derby game in the FA Cup semi final? Maybe at the end of the season.

I'm not trying to be defensive of Liverpool, if anything if criticised them for the timing of all of this ? As for your general point it was what I was trying to figure out from the beginning, when would be a good time to blast the **** players since I couldn't really see any opurtune time maybe unless all of them had been sold.

Like wise I am not defending our players/manager/staff at all, most of them have underperformed majorly (or well to expectations.) I clearly just didn't grasp your point the first time, surprised it has ****ed you off this much.

And I still disagree at the end of the season if our owners were to be honest, they would literally have to come out and say we have done some of the worst transfers ever and a large portion of them probably will never work out, and to alienate your players like that especially if you can't sell them (Carroll/Downing) would be pretty stupid if you ask me.

I know she isn't the biggest looker but no need to call her a he :p

the amount of times carroll (that's £35m carroll) has started on the bench and the price they paid for charlie adam, is the only indication anyone should need to understand they are not happy with these and other lower profile signings. no matter what that clown kenny says, so yes, it would be refreshing if they'd have just come out and said ''we are not happy in boston'' as it's what everyone knows.

so, to summarise, lol liverpool.

What is your point about Charlie Adam, he was 6 million?

Why do they need to come out and say what everyone knows, they've made it very clear today with all these people being sacked.

The departure of Liverpool's Head of Sports Medicine/Science Peter Brukner today has been met with shock by some at Anfield...

Dan Roan ‏ @danroan
Brought in by Purslow after Benitez demanded a better medical dept, he was credited with the club now having best fitness stats in PL..

Described by 1 senior source as one of LFC's "few employees of truly global standing-but never fitted in more 'traditional' Dalglish regime"

These have since been deleted, that last one is just.....****.

I can't say that I saw this coming, not for sometime anyway. My gut feeling is that there's more to this than meets the eye. Comolli was the new owners first appointment and somebody brought in specifically because of his approach to things and the similarities to what they done in Boston.

The only hint in Werner's interview is the comment about there being a disconnect in the implementation of the agreed strategy and the comment about how they give their staff authority to make decisions on their own. Reading between the lines, does this mean that Comolli went all rough and used his authority to do things his way rather than what was agreed?

Why pick him over Downing or Henderson though? (Henderson not so much as I still think he is a good player just you know being shafted to right midfield and right back these days)

Cos he's got funny teeth? Or probably because he's the most irksome of all your new signings(summer ones, obviously Suarez pips him to the top of that list if its over several years of transfers :p ).

He's FAR better value than ALL the other main transfers done, but he is a little git, fouls like its his personal mission in life. Henderson I've yet to see a really good set of performances, anyone can have one great game, over the season he's looked pretty awful. 26 starts, fouls a LOT more than he gets fouled, 1 goal and 1 assist, 34 shots for one goal. Seen very very little to justify 1/4 of his price tag so far.

What do you make of Bruckner leaving? Some Tweets by someone called Dan Roach have said he didn't fit in with Dalglish's traditional regime, whatever that means. Just hope by traditional he doesn't mean backwards like his football :(

I'm not sure why there'd be any issue between Dalglish and Bruckner; as far as I know he doesn't have much direct involvement with the first team. As the club statement says, he was brought in as an adivsor; to help put in place a structure and assemble a medical team. If that's now done, his job is finished.

(that's £35m carroll)
:D Never going to get bored of that.

I understand the argument, I just can't really agree. The cup performances are vanity, the league performance is sanity, to butcher a phrase.

Am I the only person who doesn't see the point of concentrating on the league in this situation? They're not going to make the CL, they've already got a Europa League place, and they're not going to get relegated either. If I were a Liverpool fan, I'd completely understand prioritising the FA Cup over the few remaining league games.

Yeah I'm not really too bothered in terms of points now, I'll just be angry when we lose because that is what happens.
