ahh mate, sorry to hear...

did you ever get your degree?

No :(

I went back again later to repeat the year and got pleurisy again. I had to come home again and I took my debts with me to find a job and never went back.

harsh man... hope its gone well since like.. that seems a shame... at least you experienced the fun year though :p

hehe yeah it was such a shame but so glad I experienced living in halls.

A lot has happened since then thought :)

Still wish I'd gotten a degree cause I can't get a decent job now and I really need one to look after my Mrs and our little boy (nearly 6 months old).

Funny reading this lot..I spent over 10 years as Halls Manager at a couple of different Unis, used to look after over 600 of the little blighters. Lived in most of the time...had a great time apart from pesky students setting off the fire alarm at 2am. Oh and the stories I could tell :) Yes I was probably the one sending out those kitchen cleaning warnings! :D

My advice is take loads of spirits or weed from home, depending on your tastes.

I didnt really like my flatmates at Uni but got on great with other grps so dont get too upset if you find your housemates to be boring/clicky/jerks.

omg I miss my first year of uni :( Was quite possibly the best year of my life.... so far at least, lol.

Now im over half way through my placement before going back for my final year. I'm gonna be out any night I can afford to, best to make the most of it all :D
