Local elections - How to check claims?

The OP didn't want to mention the actual party, and neither have I during our exchanges.

It's you that's associated an awful party with the Tories - although to be fair, who else could it be.

I got a similar leaflet through the door today from the Labour party. They're basically asking us not to waste our votes on the Green party, instead vote for Labour as they see themselves with a chance of getting the Conservatives out.

As much as I hate Conservatives, I think I hate Labour even more.

Then just vote green and let them both know that they don't meet your expectations.

It's very difficult for a new small party to get voted in because most people vote the same every election.

The only ones who stand a chance of being elected the first time out are locally recognised independent candidates.
